Bathroom Installation in Cardiff
Homes in Cardiff
As the capital city of Wales, Cardiff has large areas of Victorian terraces alongside inter-war semis and modern flats. In a flat, access and the available waste routes deserve attention early, as they can shape what is practical. In an older terrace or semi, the condition of the existing room can decide how much preparation goes in before anything new is fitted. Cardiff is about 8 miles from our base. The bathroom in the photo is our own finished work, and the reviewer beside it mentions help with design ideas when they were unsure where to start, along with thorough work and good after care.
“I recently had my bathroom completely gutted and refurbished by Chris and Mike. Unbelievable transformation!!! These two work brilliantly together, they are totally professional and such perfectionists. They are very thorough and pay attention to every little detail. Very friendly , very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. A fair price for such a stunning bathroom make-over which can be seen on their Facebook page ( black and white bathroom). They even helped with great ideas on how to design too when we were unsure of where to start. Completely honest and trustworthy, with brilliant after care, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you both so much, Debbie and Paul xx”
What matters for bathroom installation in Cardiff
If you are unsure where to begin, send what you have: a few photos, rough measurements and any fixtures you like the look of. Should there be more than one sensible way to arrange the room, we set out the pros and cons plainly in the quote before anything is ordered or booked. One person looks after the whole project, covering plumbing, electrical work, plastering, decorating, flooring, tiling and shower wall panelling.
- Water pressure and ventilation are checked against the fixtures you have in mind, so the room works once it is in use.
- Any access requirements are noted at the start, as they can affect both the layout and the finished work.
- One fixed price covers the job from the first day to the last.
- Walls can be finished with tiles or with shower wall panelling.
Questions about bathroom installation in Cardiff
We live in a modern flat in Cardiff. What should we send first?
Photos of the bathroom, approximate dimensions, the fixtures you are considering and any access requirements. That gives us enough for an initial view, though the firm figure still rests on accurate measurements, access, your materials and the state of the room as it is now.
What does a wet room involve?
More than the shower area. The whole floor has to be waterproofed and laid with a fall towards the drain. If a wet room is on your list, mention it early so it is part of the first conversation about layout.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. Everything we do in the bathroom, from the plumbing and electrics to the tiling and decorating, carries a 12-month guarantee on quality of workmanship.
