We tile walls and floors in bathrooms, shower rooms and kitchens, from splashbacks to full-height wall tiling. Good tiling depends on what is underneath, so we prepare the surface first: stripping old tiles, plastering walls where needed, and self-levelling and smoothing floors so the tiles sit flat and stay put.
Getting the base right
Uneven walls and floors are the usual reason tiles crack or sit proud of each other. Where an old floor dips or the plaster is loose, we sort it out before a single tile goes down, and that preparation is included in the quote rather than added later.
What affects the price
The area to cover, tile size and type, the pattern you want, how much old tiling has to come off, and whether toilets, basins or units need removing and refitting. Large format and patterned layouts take longer to set out than standard tiles. Once the tiling is done we can plaster and decorate the rest of the room as well.
