Bathroom Installation
What affects scope
- moving the toilet, basin or shower
- condition of the walls and floor under the old finishes
- tiles or shower wall panels
- electrics and heating changes
What to send first
- The suite, tiles or panels you like, if you have chosen any
- Anything you want moved, such as the shower or toilet
Good fit when
- you want the whole bathroom replaced, not just one part
- you would rather deal with one person than several trades
- the layout or finishes still need deciding
For individual parts of a bathroom project, see Tiling Services, Shower Wall Panelling Services or Flooring Services. Bathroom Installation brings the whole room together with one person to deal with.
A bathroom refit with us covers the whole room. We strip out the old suite and tiles, alter the plumbing, electrics and heating where the new layout needs it, then plaster, tile or panel the walls, lay the floor and decorate. You deal with the same people from the first visit to the final clean-up.
How we price a bathroom
Your quotation is a fixed price that sets out what is included. The price mostly depends on whether the suite stays in the same place, how much pipework and wiring has to move, the state of the walls and floor once the old finishes come off, and whether you choose tiles or shower wall panels.
Bathrooms, en-suites and downstairs toilets
Past jobs include family bathrooms, two en-suites in one house, downstairs WCs, and a 1970s separate toilet and bathroom turned into one larger, more modern room. Finished rooms are in our gallery, including a grey panelled bathroom. If the kitchen is due as well, Kitchen Installation can be priced at the same time.
