Kitchen Installation in Newport
Homes in Newport
Newport, on the River Usk in south-east Wales, has many Victorian homes alongside its later estates. In a Victorian villa or terrace, the existing waste route and the condition of the room can turn a simple fit into a job that needs investigation, so we look at those before materials are agreed. On an estate home, the main question may be whether you want the sink or cooker somewhere new, which brings rerouting of water, waste or electrics into the plan. Our photo shows a quartz worktop with an undermount sink and lit floating shelves from our own finished work. Leigh's review, shown beside this, speaks of creative ideas and nothing being too much trouble.
“I have used Truscon many times now and would not use anyone else. First job was in 2020 when they refurbished 2 bathrooms. This year they installed 2 new modern radiators and just last week they put new skirting boards in the hallway and kitchen plus other odd jobs that are never too much trouble. Their service is very friendly and professional. I love how nothing is too much trouble and they have lots of creative ideas. I have no hesitation in recommending Truscon. 👍”
What matters for kitchen installation in Newport
Before work starts, the quote sets out what is involved and, if a choice needs making, how the options compare. The price is fixed from start to completion and covers plumbing and electrical alterations as well as worktops, flooring, tiling, plastering and decorating, with one person to deal with throughout.
- The sink position and appliance connections shape the quote, so we look at them together.
- Isolation valves and the joints where leaks can start are part of the check.
- Where the kitchen needs new circuits, they have to satisfy the Building Regulations and be signed off.
- A 12-month workmanship guarantee covers the finished kitchen.
Questions about kitchen installation in Newport
Why might my kitchen cost more than a neighbour's?
Kitchens that look alike can be very different jobs. Where the sink sits, how appliances connect, the route for waste, the valves, access to cabinets and any limits on worktops all decide whether it is a straightforward fit or a bigger job needing investigation or replacement.
Can you price our bathroom at the same time?
Yes. Bathroom Installation can be looked at as part of a wider project. We check it separately so each part of the quote stays clear.
