Whether the house is a terrace or a newer family home, the work starts from the same place: the access, the tiles, and what the walls and floor are like underneath. If the tiling ties in with a bathroom project, Bathroom Installation can be reviewed separately, which keeps each part of the quote clear. The review shown with this page praises friendly, professional service, creative ideas and a willingness to take on odd jobs, from a customer who has come back several times.
“I have used Truscon many times now and would not use anyone else. First job was in 2020 when they refurbished 2 bathrooms. This year they installed 2 new modern radiators and just last week they put new skirting boards in the hallway and kitchen plus other odd jobs that are never too much trouble. Their service is very friendly and professional. I love how nothing is too much trouble and they have lots of creative ideas. I have no hesitation in recommending Truscon. 👍”
What matters for tiling services in Ystrad Mynach
Layout decisions come first. Where the choice on tile size, trims, grout or waterproofing is not obvious, the quote spells out the trade-off so you can weigh it up before committing. Once that is agreed, any preparation the surfaces need is done before the first tile goes on.
- Send the wall or floor, your tile choice and the approximate area
- Say if any fixtures need removing or plumbing fixtures are moving
- Agree layout and trims before materials are ordered
- Floors brought level with self-levelling and smoothing where needed
